Silencer Acquisition Music to CCI’s Ears

CCI recently announced the acquisition of California-based Fluid Kinetics. This acquisition broadens CCI’s outstanding portfolio of products and services with its ability to provide severe service solutions to customers in the power and oil and gas industries.

Fluid Kinetics' expertise lies in the custom engineering of each silencer for its exact service application. From process conditions and performance requirements, Fluid Kinetics predicts the required noise reduction, then tests and optimizes multiple silencer configurations to arrive at the most effective design. Fluid Kinetics maintains an expanding database of silencer applications so that silencer data sheets, outline drawings, fabrication drawings and dimensional materials lists can be generated rapidly to meet customer requirements.

By combining CCI’s existing severe service know-how and experience with Fluid Kinetics’ in-depth silencer expertise, CCI will be better positioned to provide effective noise solutions to customers’ unique situations.

Founded in 1969, Fluid Kinetics is a privately held company based in Ventura, California (and Winfield, Kansas), and its leading products are supplied to the power, oil and gas and industrial gases markets.
