Why the LLP™ is the Most Comprehensive Low-Pressure Turbine Bypass Solution
The LLP™ by CCI is the leading low-pressure turbine bypass valve for combined cycle and process steam plants. Designed in both angle and globe body configurations, the LLP™ easily fits into most existing piping arrangements, and may be installed in any orientation without the need for additional support for the upper structure. Featuring an integrated spring-loaded spraywater nozzle desuperheating manifold at the valve outlet, the LLP™ minimizes the downstream desuperheating distance, making it extremely compact for all types of low-pressure steam conditioning applications including advanced turbine bypass-to-condenser applications with short pipe runs.

The LLP Low Pressure Turbine Bypass Valve Delivers Dependable Class V Shutoff and Fast Response
LLP™ desuperheating features integral spring-loaded water injection nozzles that optimize water injection over a wide range of flow rates at low pressures. The spring-loaded water injection nozzles vary the water flow area as a function of the pressure differential across the nozzle, thereby achieving the fine water droplet size needed for superior atomization. The spraywater nozzle manifold directs the spraywater into the center of the outlet piping, providing optimum temperature control at all flow conditions. In addition, the manifold provides multiple attemperation injection points with a single customer water connection. The CCI LLP™ Turbine Bypass Valve comes standard with a pilot trim designed for ANSI/FCI 70-2 Class V Shutoff, providing dependable, repeatable shutoff and exceptional seat tightness for long periods of time with high pressure differentials.
The LLP™ is offered with high-performance reliable pneumatic diaphragm or hydraulic actuation, providing accurate control and resolution, and less than 0.5-second trip mode stroke time for hydraulic actuation (2-second trip mode stroke time for pneumatic diaphragm).
