CCI Earns Quality and Manufacturing Certificates
CCI is pleased to announce that it has received the following certifications:
“S” Stamp – CCI Fluid Kinetics (FK) received its American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) “S” stamp authorization, allowing CCI FK’s factory to fabricate and certify boiler components in conformance to the rules for construction of power boilers ASME Section 1 (Power Boiler Code). With its “S” stamp certification, the shop – located in Winfield , Kansas – also qualifies to register components with the National Board.
While CCI once depended on outside vendors to complete the type of work that requires “S” stamp authorization, CCI FK is now qualified to perform this work in-house. All of the CCI locations will be able to take advantage of CCI FK’s new “S” stamp certification and capabilities.
ASME Nuclear “N” Stamp, NPT – CCI RSM has completed the ASME audit with no findings and received a renewal of its “N” Stamp and NPT certificates, which allow the company to design, fabricate, assemble, and test Class 1, 2, and 3 nuclear valves piping subassemblies, parts, appurtenances, storage tanks, and other items under the requirements of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section III and as a material organization supplying ferrous and non-ferrous material.
KEPIC Class 1 certification (Korean “N” Stamp) – CCI Korea received from Korea Electric Association (KEA) Korea Electric Power Industry Code (KEPIC) Class 1 authorization, which allows the company to design, fabricate, assemble, and test Class 1, 2, and 3 line valves, related parts, and sub-components. This also authorizes CCI as a material organization supplying ferrous and non-ferrous material.
